Tanka: Innocence

dusk falls
between driftwood and stones
a dog sees
winter’s light on water
river’s spirit in the bay

    1. Thank you kindly dear Penny and Happy Friday to you too! Lovely to hear Tia is keeping cosy with extra woolly layers 🧡 Eivor and Pearl have been wearing their thermals under their coats too on days when the wind-chill was strong. Hope you are keeping safe and well and much love from our house to yours 🤗💕🐕 xxx

  1. This is such a thoughtful tanka, and the photos are serenely contemplative. “Driftwood and stones…” Those words speak so loudly to me and bring back memories of Oregon’s coast. Beautiful stuff, Xenia! 🙂
