A monoku is a haiku written as a single line. You can see some examples in my earlier post A Tribute to Stuart Quine.

The above monoku was inspired by the dreamy atmosphere on the misty beach and the song Silent Lucidity, which kept playing through my mind as we walked here.

Wishing you all a very happy Monday and a wonderful week ahead,

with love from Eivor, Pearl and Xenia xxx

  1. Excellent post. “Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake up in the day to find it was vanity, but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.”
