When we first adopted Eivor, he did not know how to run and was afraid of water.
We were so grateful when he strengthened up, copied our other hounds and learned how to use his legs for running. We were even more grateful when he overcame his fear of water.
Moments like these, are the cherry on top.
Much love to you all from Eivor, Pearl and Xenia xxx

The rewards of times like this with an adopted a/o rescue dog are beyond words. So happy for all of you!

What wonderful images–even without the backstory (which is true testament to animals abilities to meet challenges) this image just screams movement–and I would suspect–joy. Perfect!

Thank you so much for your kind words. We feel very blessed running here in the Summer months. It gets very wild here in Winter so we are enjoying it while we can. Hope you can find somewhere where you can let your three lovely dogs have a good time off-leash and we send love and wags your way xxx

How’d you get him to like the water? Our pitbull mix is terrified!

Eivor was frightened too when we first adopted him. It was early March, the winds were strong and the waves were high. On a warm Summer’s day when the water was calm we took off our shoes, rolled up our trousers and walked through the water as if it was the most natural thing in the world. He followed us in and after spooking a few times decided it was nice and cooling on a hot day. Ever since he has loved running through water as long as it is calm 😉💨💦
