Tanka Prose: Circles and Spirals

Walking through the dunes the scent of gorse reminds me of sun cream, our bike rides to the sea. It’s your birthday today. You would have been sixty-eight. I can imagine you silver-haired, your smile and wit still bouncing.

  1. Sorry for the loss of your Uncle Leo. We never forget or stop loving those who have passed on. This is an excellent tribute to someone who obviously had a positive impact on your life. The last picture is really beautiful.
