I love your poem and the photos. So the water hasn’t come back to the river yet?

Thank you Miriam, we walked across to the island at low tide for a picnic and walked back to the shore before the sea returned. The bay fills and empties with every tide :o) xxx

Oh, it must be an interesting place to go. The boats seem to be okay!

Wow. That’s neat. I’m sure there were a lot of interesting smells for Pearl and Evior to explore.

It looks as though the dogs are laughing at how silly those boats look out of water. That’s quite a tide to leave the boats and high and dry like that.

Haha, that is a wonderful interpretation of their joy Laurie! The tidal drop is quite steep in these parts :o) xxx

I guess so! We have tides like that in parts of Maine, too.

It looks like water comes in only during high tide and then the boats can move.

Thank you Frank, that is exactly what happens and these boats are quite small. There were larger sailing boats anchored in a deeper part of the bay that still has water at low tide (photographs of these will be posted soon) ☺⛵
