Weekly Photo Challenge: Opposites – Part 2

The cottages of Torridon village in the Western Highlands are bathing in sunlight whilst the top of the mountain is wrapped in cloud and fog.

The rains are heavy further down Loch Torridon while we walk in the sun. We keep our dogs on the lead near livestock.

This part of the Scottish Highlands sees a lot of rainfall, which creates interesting opposites of light and dark.

Wealthy people fly in by helicopter to spend time at their Highland retreat.

We travel here by road. To us every part of the journey is as breathtaking and beautiful as the destination.
