It has been joy to return to this area that means so much to us and see the changing colours.
I have posted about conservation projects on this blog before and in August of this year we decided to get more actively involved and plant a grove with Trees for Life.
The Tranature Grove‘s trees are carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.
You are more than welcome to add trees to the Tranature Grove to celebrate a milestone or special occasion or in someone’s memory. You may want to start your own grove here in the Highlands or support a conservation project near where you live.
Together we can all do our bit.
Wishing you all a happy Thursday and a peaceful rest of the week,
The trail climbs between birch and Douglas fir. Protected from the breeze it carries us higher and higher. We hear water gushing below, the sound of insects humming.
wrapped around these hills and glens the hearts of many
We’re seeking shelter in our forest from Baltic wind and forecast snow. The temperature has tumbled far since Easter. The sun is bright, dappling through Douglas Fir on browns of fern and last year’s flowers.
