What a wonderful name for those golden beauties.

Thank you kindly dear Lois, they’re in part named after these golden tiny ‘air bladders’ that help them stay upright when under water 💛 xxx

I had never heard of “bladderwrack” and — besides the name which is incomparable — they seem to be a really good plant! 🙂

Thank you kindly dear Martha, it is a plant with many health benefits and we often see them between tides 💛 xxx

We have really extreme tides. They can surprise anybody including dogs.

Thank you kindly dear J.W., it sounds like you need to be aware and mindful of these tides! There are places in the West where the tides roll in with the speed of a galloping horse too. Thankfully here in the North East, the tides are less extreme and we can plan our walks more easily 🐾💛🐾
