the waters of
our heart
awaken in the glen we walk
a deep sense of belonging

Imbolc is a Celtic holiday that honours the halfway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, celebrated in Neolithic Ireland and Scotland.

To celebrate we are delighted to share the video below featuring Am Monadh Ruadh by the Calum Stewart Quartet:

Wishing you all a blessed Imbolc and a peaceful rest of the week,

with love from Misty and Xenia xxx

  1. ah! I have missed the sights and sounds of the Highlands viewed through your lens and words! From my whisky aficionado husband, I know that water is the heart of a good whisky, and in fact, to life itself; your poem rings that true.

  2. I love this time of year, when the Earth begins to wake up after winter. Lyra has just been spayed so she isn’t feeling it yet, but she’s recovering well and will soon be gambolling among the daffodils! Much love and Imbolc blessings to you and lovely Misty – I love her sweet expression in these photos. xxx ❤ ❤
