Haibun: All the Long Season

A few snowflakes brush our faces and melt before touching the ground. We are not sure, where they came from. The patch of sky above us is translucent blue. Across the loch, clouds hover above the snow-capped peaks. Perhaps they travelled from there, on the wind.

  1. Those wayfaring snowflakes… Winter always visits my area one last time every April with a sort of going-away gift of snow. The loch is so picturesque, with the mountains in the background. You’re so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place, Xenia. I can totally understand why you and Eivor and Pearl feel so at home there. 🙂

  2. I’m loving the images, and the dogs and their expressions.
I have a feeling you and I may not have seen the last of those snow flakes. For those of us not in the south the winter is not yet Long gone! Thank you joining us on the ‘Long’ challenge, Xenia 🙂
