I can imagine there was lots of driftwood thrown up after the storms. Lovely tanka to go with the photos 🤗 🐕💕xxx

Thank you so much for your kind words dear Cathy 💜 Most of the driftwood was good for woodburners and was soon cleared away 😊 Wishing you a peaceful rest of the week and much love from our house to yours 🤗💕🐕 xxx

Perfect for wood burning. A gift from nature, especially with the cost of fuel is so high.

Xenia, I hope you are having much better weather since your storm. It looks like you had, at least, a nice sunny day for clean-up. Sending hugs from Gibbs and I and a wish to you for a happy week.

Driftwood is sort of magical. I remember some beaches along the Oregon Coast that were bursting with driftwood. I also love the semi-shallow depth-of-field in the top photo as it really draws attention to Eivor and Pearl. Wonderful words and images as always, Xenia! 🙂

Thank you so much for your kind words dear Mike, it is lovely to see these gifts from the sea and how people use them 😊 We saw people gather driftwood for firewood and close by, someone had created this wonderful piece of beach art: https://tranature.com/2022/03/09/wordless-wednesday-beach-art/
