  1. Beautiful verse and images as always, Xenia. Also, I just had the pleasure of reading your haiku over at the Akita International Haiku Network’s site for the World Haiku Series 2021 winners. I first found out about your inclusion back in December (I think it was) and I’ve been so eager to read your winning entries. Magnificent haiku, every one! I’m happy for you! Such a well deserved honor! 🙂

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Mike 🐾💛🐾 It is such an honour and pleasure to contribute to the beautiful World Haiku Series as part of a celebration of haiku from around the world and I hope to see your haiku there too in a future series 😊✍

      1. Oh, that’s a dream of mine, honestly. I have so much self-doubt about my poetry. I suppose the only way I could find out is to try. I really appreciate your encouragement. it means so much to me. 🙂

      2. I would really encourage you to submit to haiku journals from time to time. There are many journals out there and this is a good time to see which ones you like to read and then submit to those. It’s a small first step and you can take it from there 😊
