Puente Poetry: Forest Bathing

a blue and white whippet in winter jacket walking through a forest
a blue and white whippet in winter jacket sniffing a fallen branch in the forest

the scent of earth and pine
walk with us on the trail
the flutter of a raven’s wings
in the trees above us sings

~ the song of an inner moon ~

that soothes the inner tide
and merges with outside
in breaths of peace, deep peace
and all the love we carry

  1. ” breaths of peace, deep peace”. those words brought calm to me. I have found the situation in Ukraine very disturbing and your delightful words calmed my soul. Peace to you Xenia for the week to come .
