I love the playfulness of both the tanka and the photos. I had an orange baseball as a kid. This really brings back those memories of backyard baseball on the farm, hitting my ball into the wheat field! It’s always a delight to see Eivor and Pearl–looks like they were “having a ball.” 😀

Beautiful shots! It must be really hard to capture a clear image of a whippet in full flight. I’m sure I couldn’t get one of Lyra when she’s chasing her ball – she’s just a blur!
