Whilst it is still mild here on the coast it is lovely to catch a glimpse of Winter walking further inland.

Wishing you all a wonderful Wednesday,

  1. Beautiful scenes as always, and I have to confess I’m sort of fascinated by the unique attire worn by Eivor and Pearl. I love how they seem so intent upon exploring every square inch of the landscape! 🙂

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Mike 😊 Similar to greyhounds, whippets don’t have much body fat and only a thin coat of fur. As they get older they become more sensitive, both to the heat in Summer and the cold in Winter. On this walk they needed a thermal base layer under their coat which keeps their muscles warm when they’re moving more slowly. They’re eternally curious and it’s lovely to see them out and explore 🐾💛🐾
