It has been joy to return to this area that means so much to us and see the changing colours.
I have posted about conservation projects on this blog before and in August of this year we decided to get more actively involved and plant a grove with Trees for Life.
The Tranature Grove‘s trees are carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.
You are more than welcome to add trees to the Tranature Grove to celebrate a milestone or special occasion or in someone’s memory. You may want to start your own grove here in the Highlands or support a conservation project near where you live.
Together we can all do our bit.
Wishing you all a happy Thursday and a peaceful rest of the week,
with love from Eivor, Pearl and Xenia xxx

The Trees for Life is a wonderful idea. We have only a one acre property but when we arrived there was only one old maple on it. We lined the driveway with ornamental plum trees , planted several blue spruce , two heritage birch trees, a maple and four cedars. They all look big now and very handsome. The old maple is still going and I am hoping to get an arborist to remove some of the dead limbs so as to keep it going. Have a happy Friday and weekend Xenia.
