Summer is in full swing and tourists bring a bit of buzz to the beach. There are kites in the air and paddle boarders on the water. Wild-swimmers wade through the shallows with orange inflatables. We slip away to where nature makes the only sound. The gentle lapping of waves, the chant of oystercatchers piping.

As always, we love your photos — of the landscapes as well as the dogs. Table Top seems interesting, and I’d love to see a rocky beach setting. We’ve recently returned from Maine where rocky beaches in Cape Elizabeth are common — and absolutely beautiful. Thanks for participating in this week’s challenge! And best wishes for a good summer.
