Tanka: Circles

tanka poem by Xenia Tran with two whippets in spring wetlands
a smiling whippet in a black jacket walking across dry grass

ah the smell
of gorse blooming
here in the wetlands
the circle of seasons
continues to bring us peace

  2. There is something calming and peaceful in the fact that nature continues in her endless circle. I had to look up the gorse shrub. I had never heard of it before. It’s very pretty and a sure sign of spring. I love your description of the smell that you gave to Laurie. It must be heavenly.
