Now the snow has melted snowdrops and crocus begin to bloom. Swans are renewing their bond, young gulls are scouting for nest sites. Seasons continue to loop as if there’s no pandemic. There’s a chill from the eastern wind, even though the temperature is rising.

  1. The seasons do remind us that life goes on, even in the midst of a pandemic. Love the verse and the image of the water being a mirror for the blue sky. The moss Pearl is walking beside is really pretty. I know it’s probably slimy, but it looks soft and comforting.

  2. Nice to have the crocus and snowdrops. Signs of spring. We have it a bit warmer here but still snow and ice. But soon …soon I will be looking for the swans on the lake down the road. It is still frozen solid and covered in snow but soon….
