going for a walk
like a thousand walks before
dogs pouncing, bouncing
on empty tidal sands
played by radiant spirits

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Deborah 🧑 It’s not easy to record their full movements without getting other people and dogs in shot, even in these lockdown days. We cannot publish footage featuring others without their full consent because of our privacy laws. The same applies to photographs – so many lovely shots I couldn’t use because of others walking into the frame xxx

  1. the way my dogs react to a familiar walk — it is familiar to them, too, but their reaction is the same as if it were shiny and new. I was thinking yesterday with Bear it’s partly because their world is full of smells that ARE new. Their excitement, curiosity and wonder are contagious.

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Martha πŸ’œ It’s true the smells are new each day and so is the light, the way the beach looks after another high tide. Eivor and Pearl’s enthusiasm for our new adventures begins the minute I lift their leads from the hook in the hallway and it’s very contagious! Hope you are keeping well and please give Bear and Teddy a big pat from us all πŸ’– xxx
