Worthy Wednesday: Spreading the Light

It is heart-warming to see many people spreading the light at a time when it is much needed.

Football games are currently on hold in Scotland and Nairn County Football Club published the following statement on their website:

With regards to our fans and the community as a whole. Well we are not playing football for the foreseeable future, so if we can help on a Saturday with anyone in self isolation, be it picking up your shopping, getting your prescription to you or even just walking the dog, drop us a message or give us a call and we will sort something out for you.

Nobody knows how long this virus will be with us, it could be a long haul, but we want you to know that your Club is with you. You have supported us, now its our turn to do the same for you.

  1. That last picture is stunning! Holy cats. As for something good…a Facebook friend works with disabled adults. This is not a job he can do from home, so to work he goes, knowing his risk of contracting the coronavirus is very high. But he goes anyways because those adults need him. A hero, wouldn’t you say?

  6. Beautiful photos (I had no idea you’re having snow up there, still) and a wonderful message and initiative of the Football Club! In my world, parks and campgrounds are closing and people shop for way more than they need (in my humble “living in a 19ft camper opinion).
