    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Bella, that’s how it feels to us too, especially here in nature. The glimpses of history we see in the stones and flowing water make us feel really connected to those who walked here before us πŸ’œ xxx

  2. You make a very interesting observation that I hadn’t considered before, what other wonderful creatures drank from the same stream as your Beauties did. Great photos and Great tanka too, they give me something to think about. I like that. πŸ™‚ ❀

  3. The photo of the rushing water is so wonderful–crystal clear. Loui, on your sidebar, looks like such a wonderful old soul. I hope someone, literally, scoops him up quickly. What a sweet face he has.

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Lois, the water is so pure and Eivor and Pearl love drinking from mountain streams. Loui looks like a wonderful companion and fingers crossed he will find his forever home soon πŸ’œ xxx

  4. I love the connection between Eivor and Pearl and wolves. It’s amazing to think that wolves once roamed across the Highlands and that water has been around even longer, recycled in millions of raindrops. You’ve written a whole history in five lines, Xenia!

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Kim πŸ’œ Sighthounds are direct descendants of wolves and when we pause in these moments drinking the crystal waters the connection feels very strong πŸ’–πŸ• xxx
