Beautiful as always. I like the thought of: images left behind and wolves drank here.. It makes me feel that we have shared this earth for centuries and with all species. It may be new to us, but it is old..

The photo of the rushing water is so wonderful–crystal clear. Loui, on your sidebar, looks like such a wonderful old soul. I hope someone, literally, scoops him up quickly. What a sweet face he has.

I love the Tanka Xenia and the ongoing natural connections it gives the reader and links the images to. That last photo of swirling water gets the imagination working.

I love the connection between Eivor and Pearl and wolves. It’s amazing to think that wolves once roamed across the Highlands and that water has been around even longer, recycled in millions of raindrops. You’ve written a whole history in five lines, Xenia!
