Haibun: Into Peace

After a cold start the mist rolls back across the water. It’s been quite a night, according to the driftwood. The air seems innocent. In the midst of clouds we see glimpses of those who once walked here with us, their faces turning towards the light.

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Herb! The thing on the beach is a large piece of driftwood from the lower part of the trunk, just above the root ball. Hope you are keeping warm too and enjoy the rest of your week! 🤗🐾🐾
