Haibun: Trees Newly Green

We’re seeking shelter in our forest from Baltic wind and forecast snow. The temperature has tumbled far since Easter. The sun is bright, dappling through Douglas Fir on browns of fern and last year’s flowers.

Despite the drop in temperature the leaves are turning green before our eyes. We wish you all a very happy Monday and a wonderful new week!

  1. What a delightful photo of pensive pooch! How odd that it’s turning so cold at this time of year! Then again, we had temps in the low teens (Celsius) here for the last couple of days, and pouring rain. MUCH warmer today! So I hope the warmth will travel across the pond and visit you to thaw the last of frost off …

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words dear Na’ama and for sending warmth across the pond πŸ’œ We had a few snow flurries and hail showers with overnight frost – such a contrast with the 24C over Easter! The sun is shining though and we send much love your way πŸ€—πŸΎπŸ’–πŸΎ xxx
