For those of you who read last month’s post Helping the Hounds of Macau we are delighted that the last remaining greyhounds have left the Canidrome on 26th March and have safely arrived in their adoptive countries. We are especially happy to see that the older greyhounds, including 13-year old Astrid, have made it and are now settled in their forever homes.
It makes us very happy to know they have comfortable beds and are being loved and cared for in a way every dog deserves to be loved and cared for.
Our heart-felt thanks to Anima, GREY2K USA and Pet Levrieri for making this possible and to all the greyhound charities in Europe and the USA who have taken the greyhounds in and provided them with veterinary care, loving foster homes and forever homes.
A very big thank you to all of you who kindly shared the information and helped spread the word.
With love from Eivor, Pearl and Xenia xxx

Oooh. Great photos, and thank you for your good work on rescuing dogs. How do you like your ZS200 camera? It’s on my short list. I had a ZS100 that I lost in December while traveling. I’m making the most of my 10 yr. old Canon SX200 12x zoom in the meantime. I liked the pocketability of my ZS100 along with the, IMO, better photos with the 1” sensor.

Thank you so much for your kind words John! 🙂 I’m sorry to hear you lost your ZS100 – they’re such lovely cameras. I got my ZS200 a few years ago and have been very happy from the start. The auto action shots setting isn’t as good as on the older cameras (like the FZ38), so I tend to set a shutter speed between 1/800 – 1/2000 s for capturing whippet zoomies and shoot in aperture priority. The macro settings on the FZ200 are super, you can check out some of the flower and raindrop images on https://tranature.com Overall, it’s a great camera and I find it handy to carry on walks and hiking trails. The auto settings are fine though I tend to use the manual settings more often. It’s very easy to switch between the two and the iA setting is even better than on the older models. I hope this helps! 🙂🐾🐾
