oh what would it be like
to make this journey

Thank you for this lovely piece. Whenever I see driftwood I wonder same …
Can you imagine how marvelous their stories would be!?
Perhaps the pooches listen and already know…

Thank you dear Na’ama, some trees look as if they have traveled so far, their stories would be amazing! I often wonder whether the pooches know. They spend a lot of time with the trees and are great listeners 😉🐾💖🐾 xxx

Did the tree arrive at this shore from a distant land or has it traveled down to the shore to go to a distant land?

Thank you dear Anne, we sometimes get trees from distant lands on our beaches, mingling with native trees that were washed down the river. If the locals don’t claim them for craft works or firewood they’ll travel on to distant shores in time. The trunks on the beach after Storm Gareth all look like native trees so far 🙂💖 xxx

Thanks for adding to my knowledge of the travelling tree trunks and roots. Have a good weekend Xenia.

I sat in the car recently (bit of a rarity) watching a stick float along with the flow of a canal, where my hubby had parked up. I wondered how far it went along. It was very calming watching the gentle flow, after a needlessly challenging med appt. I was thankful for that view to rest my mind. Hope all well with you Xenior, Eivor & Pearl. Love Penny & T. 🐶💖💕xxx

Thank you dear Penny, that sounds like a very soothing image at a time when you needed it – I love it when that happens 💜 All is well with us but I am waiting on news from our friends in Utrecht – so very sad what happened there today. Hope you are feeling a bit better and much love to you and Tia from all of us here 🤗🐾💖🐾 xxx
