Haibun: Winter Comfort

a black whippet in a maroon and grey winter jacket looking over his left shoulder on a winter forest trail

The air is crisp and cools down as the sun slides around the mountains. The faint smell of wood smoke mingles with pine and brown leaves. It’s time to head out of the forest, before the light goes.

    1. Thank you dear Laurie 💜 We use vegetable broth or unsalted bouillon, red kidney beans, black beans, butter beans or white beans, fresh garlic, onion, chipotle, tarragon, celery, vine tomatoes, green bell pepper and chestnut mushrooms. We don’t use salt but you can add it if you want to 🙂💖 xxx
