Haibun: Two Ravens

Our Winter is still relatively mild. The roads are open, snow gates are hooked to the side. This means we can travel. We can travel back to the forests we fell in love with this Summer. The forests that brought us coolness and shade now bring us shelter from the wind. We hear a slight movement in the trees, catch the glimmer in a shimmering eye. Wrapped in mist between the trees it feels like coming home again.
