Shape shifting waters flow down Alt Mor, offering glimpses of animals who roamed here before the leaves changed their colours. We sense the presence of spirits, the wise glint in the eye of the birds that gave their name to the rock above the path. Between beech and Douglas firs, moss climbs towards heaven.

We dogs are good at sensing spirits. Eivor certainly looks like he’s sensed something in that photo. He also has a majestic look, like an Egyptian god. Stunning image! 🙂 Lots of love, Millie and Pearl xxx ❤ ❤

Autumn is the same as change…. sometimes it feels mostly for the worse, but the views that open up is definitely a blessing.

I love the thoughts of autumn as being the season of shape shifting. I too can feel the spirits of change when I walk in the woods and when I stroll down by the creek. Eivor and Pearl look so happy and curious about the changes going on around them. the haiku at the end is truly beautiful. The photo is beyond gorgeous. Hugs and love to the pups!

A trail is transition inherent, but perhaps a loop, and to breathe with the birds and their proud and bottomless eyes! So beautiful.
