I am afraid it wont last long but lets enjoy it while we can. They are such precious babies. You can see the love in their eyes and a smile on their faces. They do become part of us.

Lovely photos, and by your account, lovely weather too. We are also experiencing a pleasant autumn because the temperature was lowered by the recent rain.

We had a taste of summer yesterday as well, and I’m afraid it’s going to be the last one. Storm Callum is on the way, and it looks like Wales is going to get the worst of it! Millie and Pearl will probably refuse to go out at all. xxx

Glad to hear you had a warm day too Annabelle. Hope you all stay safe during storm Callum – we can understand Millie and Pearl wanting to stay dry and cosy. Much love from all of us here 🙂🐾💖🐾 xxx

Those dogs look warm! Speaking of which…it has been freakishly warm in Maine. Good for the heating bill, but…

We had a short-lived Indian summer also here in the US Midwest. I loved the reprise from the chill but I also love the crisp autumn air. I’m excited about your book!!! I will look into ordering it if I can get it in the states. It is a wonderful mission you have and I hope you can raise lots for the cause.

Thank you so much for your kind words LuAnne, our Indian Summer lasted four days and now we are back to bright sunshine and much cooler temperatures. Thank you also for your good wishes for our book – it is very exciting and we hope we can help many shelters. The book is available in the US through Barnes & Noble, Book Depository, Wordery, Amazon and can be ordered through any bookshop linked up to the Ingram Spark distribution network 🙂💖 xxx

Nice one .💟. I haven’t really written a haiku ever but would love to know , how we actually write a perfect haiku ?

Thank you so much for your kind words Sultana 💜 The ‘perfect’ haiku is a haiku that has been created from a place of truth, a place of quiet observation, that leaves enough room for the imagination of the reader to find their own meaning within the poem 🙂
