Carpe Diem’s Quest for a New Masterpiece #4: Autumn Leaves
Such a beautiful place, Xenia 🙂 we do not have red or yellow leaves in autumn. I don’t think we have autumn here. It’s either spring, summer, rainy or winter season. 🙂

Thank you dear Rekha, we are lucky we have so much green that turns to gold in Autumn, even though it can be a very rainy season here too ;o) xxx

Lucky indeed, Xenia. I have only seen the golden and red leaves in pictures. I hope I get to see autumn leaves in real some day. 🙂
We have rainy season twice – once in June and again in October . The October one is called retreating monsoon. How different seasons are in different places, isn’t it? 🙂

Yes, they are very different! While we are rolling into Autumn it is Spring in the Southern Hemisphere. I didn’t realise the October one is called ‘retreating monsoon’, thank you so much for sharing this Rekha :o) xxx

Beautiful and very evocative. Reminds me of the pacific northwest (oregon and washington coastal ranges) here in the states. Damp coolness, lush vegetation.

Thank you so much for your kind words Steph, it sounds very similar. We have the damp coolness here in Autumn and lush forests where the leaves still provide shelter from the rain :o) xxx

Beautiful photos! The contrast of the yellow fern and green trees with your babies is outstanding and inviting. It also looks like a great place to go for a walk.

Those ferns are beautiful. My ferns turned from green to brown – I’m jealous of your yellow gold! 🙂

Thank you LuAnne, a lot of the ferns were very dry
after a long heatwave and turned to gold early this year 🙂💖🍂🍁 xxx

Oh I wish I could just DRIVE over with Bear and Teddy and take a walk with you, Pearl and Eivor in this wonderland. On Mt. Palomar, in California, in wet years, there are ferns, but only occasionally and, coming from this high mountain paradise, ferns are from another world for me. They are very beautiful here in fall, ❤
