We are indulging ourselves in another day of lochans, pine trees and the cool shade they bring this warm Summer.

    1. Thank you Shielagh, we are blessed with forests nearby for shade and an early morning breeze for our walks at the moment. We are still in the nesting season for ground-nesting birds and Eivor and Pearl have to be on the lead for parts of the walk so they are not disturbing these birds with their zoomies. This is why they wear a cotton mesh harness – it gives them more freedom for sniffing and looking around when on the lead. They rarely wear coats in Summer. We have these ‘Keep Cool’ coats that reflect the sun and keep their bodies cool in bright sunlight but we prefer to walk in the shade when we can 🙂🌲🐾💖🐾 xxx
