  1. What a lovely blog. I’ve always wanted a whippet. Felt they might have the sensitivity of a sheltie without the barking and hair. Know they’re a bit different, but believe they would suit my personality. Love the culture of the British Isles too. Have not visited, but travel to New England whenever I can, (reside in the mid-western US). Thanks for the like onmy post! Penny

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words Penny. Whippets are very sensitive dogs (in more ways than one) and many of them will bark too. They are very curious and have bags of energy. Many have a strong prey-drive and need plenty of exercise where they can release this, through chasing balls and running with each other or with other dogs who can keep up with them. Active and alert human companions will suit them best! :o)
