Haibun: A New Breath

The weather is being kind today. It feels good to leave our coats at home, breathe in the sea air. Seals are barking on the bars. A deerhound leaps in and out of tidal pools, inviting us to follow.

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words Cathy 💖 Eivor and Pearl are used to the seals and leave them be. They were watching a young female deerhound zoom around the tidal pools – it was quite a sight! 😉💨💦 xxx

    1. The beauty of their coats is that they allow free movement while protecting them from the cold. Now that it is warmer they love the sun on their fur. Pearl even had a splash in the water! 😁💨💦

  1. Weather here (visiting) in New England has taken a nose dive. Just yesterday I saw a Cardinals and Robins – besides the crows! The west wind is whipping across Lake William. I’ve already been to the hotel gym…
I did see some crocus blooming last week, but the trees aren’t budding at all – yet.
