The weather is being kind today. It feels good to leave our coats at home, breathe in the sea air. Seals are barking on the bars. A deerhound leaps in and out of tidal pools, inviting us to follow.

The first thing I noticed was… no coats for the pups. Yay! Were they more frisky than usual in their birthday suits? 🙂

Thank you Liesbet, they are so happy it is warmer, even though it is only 11C. Pearl was running so much she went in the water to cool down! :o) xxx

Thank you so much for your kind words Cathy 💖 Eivor and Pearl are used to the seals and leave them be. They were watching a young female deerhound zoom around the tidal pools – it was quite a sight! 😉💨💦 xxx

A lovely outing. The light is so different! Like another who commented, I was struck by how different the dogs look without their coats–I imagine I will get used to this change.

How wonderful the dogs can hear the seals, smell the warming air, and race about without their coats at last!

Indeed good to see your whippets without their coats on! I bet they felt “freer” in movement!

The beauty of their coats is that they allow free movement while protecting them from the cold. Now that it is warmer they love the sun on their fur. Pearl even had a splash in the water! 😁💨💦

Weather here (visiting) in New England has taken a nose dive. Just yesterday I saw a Cardinals and Robins – besides the crows! The west wind is whipping across Lake William. I’ve already been to the hotel gym…
I did see some crocus blooming last week, but the trees aren’t budding at all – yet.

I hope this weather will soon pass for you Jules. The buds are beginning to show here after a long Winter and the temperature is rising steadily. Keep warm and enjoy the rest of your weekend! ☺
