Haibun: Easter Winds

two whippets in winter jackets running on the beach

Our caravan parks are full and yet the beach stays empty. The sky is topaz blue and the sea the colour of sapphire. This cold wind from the East is strong. She fills our eyes with water. Shells mingle with sand before the sea returns to save them.

  1. Cheerful images of Pearl and Eivor, Xenia, and I love the contrast of colours in the haibun, between the topaz blue, sapphire and the peace lilies. Easter greetings 🙂 xxx
