Haibun: Time to be Still

Water knows there is enough time to be still. It seems like yesterday we walked on ice. Today the sun is higher in the sky and warms the shallows.

  1. The other day I wrote of young spring… perhaps fickle would have been a better word?
As overnight there are still some frozen areas. When the sun shines just a bit more of the remains of the last foot of snow storm melts…

I like your water reference. I’m happy to live near water 🙂
    Thanks for stopping by.
Joyous spring to you and yours. ~Jules

  2. Our condolences to Frank on the loss of his beloved Ransom, his canine companion. Our pets brighten our lives so much, and we usually outlive them, and thus experience much sadness. But love endures!
