Near the end of last week the so-called ‘Beast from the East’ brought snow and icy winds from Siberia which inspired this post. These winds have now passed and the day-time temperatures are rising just above freezing again.

We hope you are keeping warm and wish you all a peaceful and blessed new week.

With love from Eivor, Pearl and Xenia xxx

      1. Glad to hear that, Xenia 🙂 a cup of hot chocolate by the fireplace and a warm, cosy blanket is my way of beating the cold.😀 We don’t have harsh winters here. I haven’t seen snow either.
lots of love to all of you 💗

  1. I think your Siberian winds made it all the way to Albuquerque, New Mexico today, Xenia. It was icy cold when taking the dogs for a walk; we all did it as fast as possible! 🙂 Happy to be indoors now. The dogs are stretched out for their naps. They are both labs. One is 12 and the other 8.

    1. Wow! It was a very biting wind and it sounds like you are experiencing the same. Great to hear you are looking after two seniors again – please give them a big pat from me and I look forward to hearing more about them soon! :o) xxx

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words Amy, it sounds lovely and warm where you are!🌞 The temperature is up to 2C with rain and wet snow today – it feels very mild now the wind chill has gone 😁💖 xxx
