Haibun: When Grass Turns Gold

The northern wind breathes ice across the water and leaves wind-tears in our eyes. We find shelter in the dunes where the sun feels warmest. The tidal wash between the stones looks very clean, as if someone has already been here.

      1. Hi Xenia. The grass on the eastern part of SA normally turns gold in winter too because that is the dry season normally, but last winter we had lots of rain and the grass remained green. Now it is summer and not raining like it normally does! The climate is defintely changing here. Hugs to Pearl and Eivor and one for yourself of course!
