Haibun: Among The Waves

We are grateful there is enough beach for us to stretch our legs at high tide. Waves roll and foam, carrying news for those who listen. The gulls squawk overhead, wings white as snow. With every step we walk into a new story.

  5. Happy Thursday – and what a happy haibun! The whippets are wrapped up warm – I hope you are too, Xenia – and enjoying the beach and the snow. I can hear the gulls squawking as I read – and the geese in the distance. 🙂
