    1. Thank you Annabelle, we are quite lucky compared to what they have just had in North America, it only got to -6C in the windchill here. Hope you are all keeping warm and much love to you, Millie and Pearl :o) xxx

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words Kim 💜 It is beautiful and invigorating in the fresh air and I have to keep my camera under my coat between shots to stop it from freezing! Enjoy your week and much love to you all 🤗💖 xxx

    1. Thank you for being curious Sherif! My haiku tend to come as a single thought, a snapshot of a moment when I am out walking and sometimes when I am reliving the walk sorting through the photographs. They are received in a state of ’empty mind’ and may have layers of meaning when read by different eyes. This particular haiku was sparked when the wind carried a fragment of the voice of another dog walker who was calling his dog back from the dunes. His words had been distorted by the wind, it was just a bit of ‘voice’ that blew past and upward. I was looking at the mountains across the water at the time when the haiku came. I can see that it may be symbolic for the voice that can be caught when the words are lost in the wind. You may see a different meaning in this haiku and that is what I love about the form 🤗💨

      1. Ah thats very interesting! I’m guessing the other dog walker was a fisherman then? Pretty awesome depiction of your moment then. All my poetry always has all sorts of hidden meaning, so I’m always trying to dig deep into others, and when I can’t find something am always curious! Thanks for the explanation!! 🙂
