Even at our sheltered shore the waves are rolling high in Autumn winds. New curves are carved in the sand and a slice of beach lies more than a foot below from where we ran all through September. We love the sound of water. The spurts and bubbles sizzle in a primal rhythm that makes us feel at home. When salt from the sea becomes one with the air we taste new freedoms.

Memories of
College Days
College Building
atop a hill just up a road
a walk from our River home..
respite from lecture books in
eyes of young man too poor to
buy fries at Burger King.. the smell
of eggs cooked by Grandmother’s Love
too formal for her name was Mama Wese
short and long as a servant of Love named Louise..
how fortunate
am i with a memory
of smell and the reality of Love

it’s True.. Living Water of Love
never dies when real within..
NoW i find it incredibly joyful
and incredibly sad for me then
at least as i could not be Truly

five and under
before work

We love the sea too, and the way it changes from one day to the next. Last weekend we watched the massive waves generated by the Brianstorm; yesterday it was sunny, calm and warm enough to paddle! Millie and Pearl xx 🙂
