Kristjaan at Carpe Diem has invited us to create a Tan renga with the given haiku by Jane Reichhold to honor her. A Tan Renga is a short chained poem written by two poets. It looks very similar to a Tanka, but a Tanka is written by one poet.
I created the second stanza and added the selected photographs of Eivor and Pearl inspired by the scenes in the haiku (the starting verse).

Once again, thank you for the stunning photos, and the beautiful words. The colour contrast with the pink ball is very effective!

Runway to the stars, indeed! And you have two stars of your own, two dog buddies who get to run on the sand and dash into the seal. I always smile when I see their photos.

Thank you so much for your kind words Laurie! Eivor and Pearl love running across the sands and dashing through the shallows at low tide, especially with the mild weather we are having at the moment. I hope your leg is feeling a bit better :o) xxx

Last night, I sat through a two-hour meeting, and by the end, I felt as though a gremlin was about to burst from the bump. Better this morning. 😉

It sounds as if you need to keep moving it gently to encourage circulation, especially without carrying any weight (e.g. lying on your back and ‘cycling’ in the air followed by gentle stretches) :o) xxx
