  1. Well done you on capturing a photo of a hare so close up! Beautiful poem, it really captures that Japanese feel of oneness with nature and the seasons and all creatures great and small.

  3. Gorgeous photography, Xenia , and an amazing daisy-filled tanka! There is also a range of ‘eyes’: the daisies (ox-eye). the hare’s eye, and the eye of heaven (sky), all watching over the mountains. But it’s the trust that’s most important!
