‘sea water shimmers’ and whippets shake! I love the photo as much as the tanka, Xenia. How did you capture those drops of water so clearly? I can see daybreak grinning like a whippet scattering drops of sea water – unconditional gifts!

Thank you for your kind words Kim :o) When I take images of the whippets in full flight I increase the shutter speed to 1/800 s to prevent blurring. By a happy coincidence it also captures the movement of the water :o) xxx

They love to splash in the sea on a hot day, Millie and my Pearl too! They don’t swim, but they enjoy a paddle and chasing sticks in the waves. Love from us all ❤
