a familiar song
echoes between these stones,
these roots of trees
sounds of laughter
curl between these cairns,
the shoots of spring grass
this music of life
stretches with delight
across the muddy meadow
nature tunes
this grateful dance,
the joy in my heart

The spring laughter of nature does bring joy to the heart. Lovely quadrille. And of course the whippet running full speed towards me in the picture made me smile. 🙂

A lifting quadrille to match Eivor’s enthusiasm. Is that an art work or something spiritual Xenia?

Thank you Denis, people make these cairns on the dry part of the river bed (and on some of our beaches) as a temporary work of art and for meditation 💜
