Haibun: Health Returns

This warm breeze of Spring sings to my heart. It feels so good to walk beside the loch after resting. The water is high with melted snows and the nesting season has begun. The air is pure. The healthy smell of pine, earth and water lifts my soul and makes me feel whole again. I am so grateful for all your well wishes following my injury. From my heart to yours, a very big thank you to you all.

      1. Thanks so much! I hope all your dogs remain safe and healthy! In Phuket its really sad. There are so many stray dogs. If I were to stay here indefinitely I would totally adopt one ahhh. Love yours as much as you can!

      2. Thank you so much Sherif and we will love our dogs as much as we can! :o) Stray dogs make wonderful pets, we adopted one many years ago and she lived with us for nearly 9 years before she passed away. If you ever decide to adopt a stray dog you will find it very rewarding :o)

      3. I miss mine, I used to have two, but they’re in heaven now 🙂 I hung out with this one stray for 20 minutes and bought it some chicken. Was an awesome experience and it was the sweetest. If I ever know I’ll be settled in a place and am not a nomadic teacher definitely hope to get another dog or a cat. Haven’t had a cat before

      4. The stray will be so grateful for the food and I am sure your two will be smiling down from heaven when they see you help a dog in need. Cats make wonderful pets too and there will be plenty of them looking for a loving home when you are ready :o)

      1. Thank you. I was going to get out and take a walk, but it is chilly and rainy. So, I’m staying in my pajamas today, playing on the computer, and working on a sewing project. Tippy is content to sleep the day away. Rain is not her favorite type of weather.

    1. Thank you so much Kathie, it was just a sprain in my paw and I was not allowed to do any running and leaping for ten days. All is well again now and we wish you a very happy weekend :o) xxx
