    1. Thank you for your kind words Cathy :o) The stone is part-covered by the tidal sands and lies under water at high tide – I have no idea of her age or how deep the part runs below the sand. Many stones on the beach have tumbled from mountains and travelled down the river – most of them are smaller though. The patterns caught my eye and she had a lovely energy around her. I hope you are having a wonderful day and much love to you and Finn xxx

    1. Thank you Shielagh :o) I do not know whether this stone came from the mountains upstream as we have many river stones on our beaches here and most of them are rounder in shape and look as if they have been polished by the waters for a long time. She is embedded in the tidal sand and I did not want to disturb her, so I do not know how deep this stone actually is. She may have been used as part of a sea wall before. If any geologists are reading this blog they may be able to tell us more :o) xxx

  1. Lovely poem and interesting images especially that rock. I thought of Eivor and Pearl on our walk through the local shopping centre a short time ago. A young woman was kneeling and holding an ice cream cup on the footpath while her Whippet gently licked the container.
