    1. Thank you for your kind words Stephen, there are some beautiful images in that group. I have been posting some of my images of the sky on twitter in support of human rights campaigns such as this one: https://twitter.com/WhippetHaiku/status/822403799654354944 You can find more information about the #SkyforShawkan campaign on CiLuna’s blog: https://ciluna27.wordpress.com/2016/09/13/sky-for-shawkan/ in case any of the participants in your flickr group want to show their support.

    1. Thank you J.R. – these are the remains of a folly said to have been modelled on the Gates of Negapatam in India. The building of the monument was commissioned by Sir Hector Munro to provide work for local people affected by the clearances in 1782.

    1. Thank you for your kind words Denis ☺ The ‘otherworldliness’ we experienced on top of this hill is reflected in the tanka with a nod to Rumi – there was a lot going on πŸ˜‰

  1. Just when I thought your photos couldn’t be any more spectacular, you share some that are even more incredible. Wowsah, as we would say in Maine!
